    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The maintenance technician will perform reactionary, preventative, and facility maintenance throughout the plant, supporting operations primarily in Plant 2, which focuses on injection molding plastic processes. Although prior injection molding experience is not required, candidates must be comfortable working in this environment. The role involves repairing machinery such as injection mold equipment, Fanuc robots, conveyor systems, and more.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform reactionary and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.

    + Repair and maintain injection mold equipment, Fanuc robots, and conveyor systems.

    + Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.

    + Conduct PLC troubleshooting and work with servo drives.

    + Use welding skills for fabrication as needed.

    + Maintain mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics.

    Essential Skills

    + Hydraulics expertise.

    + PLC troubleshooting experience.

    + Mechanical and electrical maintenance proficiency.

    + Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.

    + Experience with mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Machine repair skills.

    + Electrical maintenance, including 3-phase systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

    + Experience with voltmeters and electrical schematics.

    + Tier 2 requires at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

    + Tier 3 requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

    + Experience with Fanuc robotics and controls (PLC, vision systems) is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    The position involves traditional Monday through Friday shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM, with work every other Saturday and an average of 8 hours of overtime per week. The facility is climate-controlled, though maintenance tasks may involve exposure to heat.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Springfield, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $67600.00/yr.
