Job Title: Maintenance Worker - 20/hr+

Job Description

you will be responsible for Maintaining various machinery and equipment on the production line to ensure proper functioning. You will start on the 1st shift, working Monday to Thursday from 6AM to 4PM

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and troubleshoot plant equipment and machinery used in the processing of chemical substances, such as conveyors, compressors, pumps, extruders and hydraulic presses adhering to safety standards at all times

• Clean and maintain plant maintenance areas and equipment regularly as required, promoting environmental cleanliness and efficiency

• Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments in accordance with pre-established maintenance schedules and as needed or requested

• Attend and participate in plant, shift, safety and quality meetings as required, providing accurate maintenance reporting and completing job safety evaluations as requested

• Receive and complete daily work assignments, documentation and checklists as required, adhering to process and industrial safety guidelines and requirements

• Lead and assist in the fabrication, modification and implementation of new and existing equipment and machinery

• Review machinery and equipment specifications and formulations for proper usage, utilizing specified checklists as appropriate and maintaining appropriate inventory of tools, and documentation

• Coordinate the maintenance and daily operation of all physical working elements of the facility, including electrical, plumbing, signage and hazardous material disposal functions, obtaining third party vendors as contracted or necessary

• Coordinate the quality review of equipment operation and production outcomes, troubleshooting equipment and results for potential errors or issues and reporting them as necessary

• Coordinate and participate in the seasonal preparation of appropriate equipment and systems, including the coordination and participation in facility snow and ice removal

• Obtain and use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as instructed, maintaining the condition and storage of such equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huron, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
