Job Title: Maintenance Technician Supervisor

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment and building facilities in a safe and effective manner. You will utilize established repair policies and procedures and communicate any unsafe practices or conditions to management. Additionally, you will manage tools and supplies, ensuring availability for performing necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair distribution center equipment and building facilities safely and correctly.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, and more.

+ Assist other technicians in equipment repair and maintenance tasks.

+ Clean and maintain grounds, parking lots, fencing, and building facilities.

+ Communicate effectively with individuals or groups, both verbally and in writing.

+ Complete work orders and other documents following established procedures.

+ Read and interpret technical drawings such as blueprints and electronic/mechanical schematics.

+ Troubleshoot complex equipment problems where repairs are not immediately obvious.

+ Operate material handling, battery, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment.

+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

+ Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

+ Experience with conveyor systems, 3-phase electrical motors, and forklift maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Coursework or certification in welding, electrical, mechanical automation, or industrial electronics.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Sutherland, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $76960.00/yr.

401(k) Plan: matches each dollar you contribute, up to 6% of your eligible pay.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Suffolk,VA.
