    Job Description

    As a Controls Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting production processes and ensuring the continuous operation of equipment. You will be responsible for editing PLC programs and working with cameras, sensors, vision systems, and end-of-arm tooling for pick-and-place operations. Experience with ABB and Fanuc robotics is a plus, and a background in plastics is ideal.

     

    + Edit PLC programs using Allen-Bradley and Omron platforms.

    + Work with cameras, sensors, and vision systems.

    + Manage end-of-arm tooling for pick-and-place operations.

    + Troubleshoot and maintain automation and robotic systems.

    + Ensure continuous operation of equipment in a production environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in PLC editing.

    + Experience with HMI systems.

    + Knowledge of vision systems, including cameras, sensors, and lasers.

    + Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.

    + Strong understanding of automation and robotics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with ABB and Fanuc robotics is a plus.

    + Background in plastics manufacturing is ideal.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics.

    Work Environment

     

    The role operates within a plastic injection and blow molding facility, producing automotive parts. You will work a rotating 1st shift schedule from 6 AM to 6 PM, with a pattern of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off, including every other weekend. The facility houses 54 machines, providing a hands-on experience with advanced production technology.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $81120.00/yr.
