Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, where you will play a crucial role in assisting with machine repairs and maintaining our facilities and grounds. This position is on the 1st shift, running from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 6:00 am to 2:00 pm on Fridays.

Responsibilities

+ Assist current maintenance personnel with machine repairs.

+ Perform facilities and grounds maintenance.

+ Help with preventative maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, oil changes, and greasing.

+ Support production management through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Ensure safety protocols are followed and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.

+ Utilize knowledge in hydraulics, schematic interpretation, and PLC troubleshooting to address maintenance issues.

+ Manage and supervise maintenance tasks using CMMS and other maintenance management tools.

Essential Skills

+ Prior experience in maintenance.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Basic mechanical aptitude.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift experience or certification.

+ Experience in maintenance supervision and management.

+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 6S principles, and process improvement.

+ Understanding of ERP systems and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Work Environment

The work environment includes two production facilities: one older facility with more manual equipment used less frequently, and a newer facility with state-of-the-art automated machinery installed from overseas within the past six months. The team consists of 18 employees, working in a space that is comfortable year-round.

This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
