Job Title: Food Services Worker
Job Description
Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations. Follow established policies and procedures to ensure quality food service is provided at all times.
Responsibilities
+ Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
+ Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
+ Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
+ Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
+ Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
+ Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
+ Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
+ Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
+ Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
+ Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
+ Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Knowledge of foodservice, cleaning, and food preparation.
+ Understanding of dietary restrictions and food industry standards.
+ Experience in food production and customer service.
+ Ability to verify order tickets with a list of food items and ensure order accuracy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to perform general labor tasks as required.
+ Experience working on a tray line is a plus.

Work Environment
There are two positions available: one on the 1st shift and one on the 2nd shift. Full-time work is required from Thursday to Sunday with flexible hours from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm or 10:30 am to 7 pm. The dress code is black slacks/chinos or professional attire pants with a black polo.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
