Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for unloading drainage pipes of various sizes, trimming plastic excess, cutting materials to specifications, and coiling them into rolls. This role requires physical strength as you will routinely lift 30-40 pounds and assist in team lifting heavier parts up to 100 pounds. You must be comfortable maneuvering these parts by pushing and pulling.
Responsibilities
+ Unload drainage pipes of various sizes.
+ Trim excess plastic from products.
+ Cut materials to specified dimensions.
+ Coil materials into rolls for storage or transport.
+ Lift up to 40 pounds routinely and assist in team lifting heavier parts up to 100 pounds.
+ Maneuver heavier parts by pushing or pulling.
Essential Skills
+ General labor and production line experience.
+ Machine operation experience.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
+ Ability to maneuver up to 100 pounds.
+ Experience with hand and power tools, including operating a sawzall.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous machine operation experience is beneficial.
+ Experience in plastics manufacturing is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled, which means it can be cold in the summer and hot in the winter. The facility is fairly organized with a newly installed production line, though it can become cramped if a lot of scrap plastic is produced. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday), 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM (Monday-Friday), and 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM (Monday-Friday). Overtime may be required before or after shifts and every other Saturday as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of London, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr.
