Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems used in industrial automation, HVAC, or manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working with PLCs, HMIs, control panels, and instrumentation, and will play a key role
in ensuring system reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Install, wire, and configure electrical control panels and systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning control systems, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and actuators.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
+ Perform system testing and validation to ensure functionality and compliance with design specifications.
+ Assist in programming or modifying PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
+ Calibrate and maintain instrumentation and control devices.
+ Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to support system integration and upgrades.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, changes made, and parts used.
+ Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
+ Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 2+ years of hands-on experience in controls or automation systems.
+ Proficiency with PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, and industrial communication protocols.
+ Strong understanding of electrical systems and control logic.
+ Ability to use electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
+ Familiarity with NEC codes and industrial safety standards.
+ Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with SCADA systems.
+ Knowledge of HVAC or building automation systems (if applicable).
Shift: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday ($33.64)

The pay range for this position is $67267.00 - $67267.00/yr.
