    Job Title: Equipment Shop Foreman/Supervisor

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Equipment Shop Foreman/Supervisor to lead and manage a team of 5-8 individuals in a dynamic shop environment. This first-shift role offers the opportunity for career advancement to a HE Shop Manager position. We offer a relocation package and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile mining equipment, preferably with experience from CAT or Komatsu.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and oversee a team of 5-8 shop employees.

    + Conduct repairs and maintenance on mobile mining equipment.

    + Perform machine rebuilds, overhauls, and major component replacements.

    + Utilize welding fabrication techniques, including arc welding, metal inert gas welding, and arc gouging.

    + Handle technical tasks involving hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors.

    + Operate a service vehicle and maintain a tool inventory for assigned tasks.

    + Ensure high safety standards and maintain a safe working record.

    + Provide excellent customer service by performing duties with urgency and accuracy.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing mobile mining equipment.

    + Minimum of 5 years of exposure to mining equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik, and Liebherr.

    + Proficient in machine rebuilds, overhauls, and major component replacement.

    + Experience with Frac Transmissions disassembly and assembly/rebuild.

    + Proficiency in welding fabrication and the use of an oxyacetylene torch.

    + Technical expertise in hydraulic systems.

    + Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OEM experience is highly desired.

    + Proficiency in computer software such as Word and Excel.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

    + Ability to lift over 50 pounds.

    + Experience in a fast-paced service environment.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a shop environment with indoor and outdoor responsibilities in Davant, LA. The schedule typically runs from 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday. This is considered a leadership role, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic service environment.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
