Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Our client is a food manufacturing company specializing in salad dressings and sauces, including a popular BBQ sauce. The facility is responsible for filling, packaging, and distributing these products to various stores and restaurants. The maintenance technician will ensure the smooth operation of packaging lines, which include a variety of machinery and conveyor systems.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.

+ Troubleshoot and repair packaging machines, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, motors, cylinders, pumps, valves, and flow meters.

+ Handle case packers, case sealers, filler machines, labelers, and palletizers.

+ Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs, including troubleshooting machinery.

+ Work with 3-phase motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, flowmeters, VFDs, wiring, PLCs, relays, chillers, and boilers.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Program, edit, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs.

+ Set up and repair VFDs.

+ Maintain safety circuits.

+ Troubleshooting and repairing machinery.

+ Electrical and mechanical repair.

+ Machinery conveyor repair.

+ 3-phase motor repair.

+ Cylinder repair.

+ Pneumatics and hydraulics.

+ Pump and valve maintenance.

+ Gearbox and conveyor maintenance.

+ Flowmeter maintenance.

+ VFD setup and repair.

+ PLC troubleshooting.

+ Relay, chiller, and boiler maintenance.

+ Reading blueprints and schematics.

+ Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.

+ Safety circuit maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 3-4 years of experience performing maintenance on machinery in a production environment.

Work Environment

The position is located in a food manufacturing environment that adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The shift available is the 3rd shift weekend, from 11:00pm to 9:30am, Thursday through Sunday, consisting of four 10-hour shifts.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85280.00/yr.
