    Job Title: Assembly Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aerospace Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and testing of jet engines and systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble, install, test, and repair jet engine components and systems.

    + Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on jet engine equipment.

    + Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with engine systems.

    + Follow detailed technical manuals and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and repair.

    + Collaborate with engineers to implement and improve testing procedures.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.

    + Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Associate degree in Aerospace Technology, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field.

    + Must have an active passport

    + Experience in the aerospace manufacturing or assembly field of 1+ years can substitute an associate's degree.

    + Proven experience as a technician or similar role.

    + Strong understanding of aerospace systems and components.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals.

    + Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work standing for up to 8 hours per day.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Lean manufacturing experience is a plus..

    + 10% of international travel to Europe is required in the first year.

    + Experience with aviation structural assembly, sheet metal, aircraft structure, and turbine engines.

The new site requires flexibility and willingness to work outside of one's scope to help get production going.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
