Job Description
The Assembly Operator position will support daily operations activities, focusing on final assembly. This crucial role is part of the Operations team and plays an important part in upcoming clinical milestones with significant opportunities for growth. The position involves supporting operations builds of valves for clinical trials and research and development builds.
Responsibilities
+ Perform final assembly of medical devices.
+ Support operations builds of valves for clinical trials and R&D.
+ Ensure finished product quality with acute awareness.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for operations and functions.
+ Follow gowning procedures when entering and exiting clean rooms.
+ Ensure clean room standards by following appropriate cleaning procedures.
+ Work independently and stay focused with minimal supervision.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in medical device manufacturing.
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
+ Knowledge of basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
+ Ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
+ Capability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs.
+ Proficiency in handling and maneuvering small components and parts.
+ Ability to use microscopes.
+ Good hand dexterity and eye coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3-5 years of experience working in a cleanroom environment.
+ Experience with production-related systems and procedures, preferably with catheters.
+ Ability to be cross-trained, certified, and perform all functions of the position.
+ Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
+ Driven and approaches activities with a sense of urgency.
+ Adaptability to an evolving environment with a broad range of responsibilities.

Work in a cleanroom environment, engaging in sewing and handling valves and tissues. This position requires adherence to cleanroom standards and procedures, offering a focused and professional setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
