    Job Title: RR - EVS Tech

    Job Description

    The role involves cleaning non-occupied patient rooms with a focus on deep cleaning. Each room takes approximately 20-30 minutes and requires tasks such as making the bed, flipping the mattress, and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the entire room. Responsibilities also include handling linens and cleaning isolation rooms, which necessitates strict adherence to safety protocols.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform deep cleaning of non-occupied patient rooms, including making beds and flipping mattresses.

    + Thoroughly clean and disinfect entire rooms within the hospital.

    + Handle linens by placing them in large, heavy bags and managing their disposal.

    + Clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures and procedures.

    + Interact effectively with patients, nurses, doctors, and housekeeping team.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months experience in hospital or hotel cleaning/housekeeping.

    + Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, nurses, doctors, and team members.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in janitorial and housekeeping tasks.

    + Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is primarily in a hospital setting, requiring individuals to be self-starters as they often work independently. The shift is from 10:30 PM to 7 AM with rotating weekends. Professional appearance is required, with facial piercings not allowed and tattoos needing to be covered.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROUND ROCK, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.50/hr.
