Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician capable of troubleshooting and performing industrial and electrical repairs on various machines. This role involves working with equipment such as extrusion machines, presses, hydraulic systems, industrial saws, and ovens.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on machinery.

+ Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including greasing bearings, replacing belts, oiling gearboxes, and changing filters.

+ Replace and set parameters for Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

+ Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on paint lines and extrusion machines.

+ Perform welding and fabrication tasks, such as using stick, TIG, and MIG welding methods to create basic brackets and fabricate components as needed.

+ Check power and fuses, focusing on 3-phase 480V motors, servo motors, encoders, and proximity switches.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or a combination of education and experience.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and maintenance repair.

+ Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (preferred but not required).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience with extrusion, anodizing, and automated paint lines is a plus.

+ Welding or fabrication experience is highly desirable.

Work Environment

This role is based in a metal manufacturing plant, which means the environment can be loud and dirty due to metal shavings and grease. Hearing protection is required and provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
