    Job Title: Skilled Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves repairing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on various plant equipment, including plastic injection mold machines, presses, Fanuc robots, HMIs, automation systems, and secondary equipment such as thermal control units. The position requires a mechanic-focused approach with some electrical responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform repairs and troubleshooting on plastic injection mold machines, presses, Fanuc robots, HMIs, and automation systems.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance on plant equipment and smaller secondary equipment like thermal control units.

    + Manage work order systems and participate in shift pass down processes.

    + Handle facility-related tasks, including plumbing, salting, shoveling, and managing utilities like compressors and chillers.

    + Perform electrical tasks, including working with 480v systems, changing fuses and circuit breakers in presses, and handling heater bands.

    + Apply LOTO procedures as necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

    + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Ability to perform PLC troubleshooting.

    + Familiarity with blueprint and schematic reading.

    + At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the plastics industry is preferred.

    + Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is on the 3rd shift, starting Monday night from 11 PM to 7 AM. Overtime is available if desired, with an expectation of 40 hours per week. The busy season runs from May to December, potentially involving 30-40 extra hours a month. You will work alongside six other members on the 3rd shift, including production staff and a supervisor. Training may occur on the 1st or 2nd shift for up to a month. The team includes a good number of Spanish-speaking workers, making bilingual skills advantageous.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $49000.00 - $63000.00/yr.

    Will be only Tech on 3rd shift
