    Job Title:Assistant Professor

     

    Department: Biology

     

    Provide a brief statement of the position duties:Teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in human anatomy & physiology, animal physiology, introductory biology, and courses in their specialty. Establish an active research program, supervise MS thesis research, and lead pre-veterinary medicine program.

    Required Education:

    PhD or equivalent terminal degree (or foreign equivalent)

    Discipline/Degree Area:

    Physiology, Life Sciences, or closely related field from an accredited institution.

    Required Specialized Training/Certifications:

    Must also have record of peer-reviewed publication, record of successful grant writing, and experience mentoring undergraduate students.

    Required Minimum Work Experience:

    One (1) month of university-level teaching experience in one or more of the following courses is required: human anatomy and physiology, animal physiology, or introductory biology.
