The Nursing Director coordinates all aspects of Emergency Services in conjunction with the Chair of Emergency Medicine/or medical directors for each facility in order to maximize all components of the UC Health System. Uses advanced education, administrative and clinical knowledge and skills to fine innovative methods to enhance and improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the UC Health Emergency Services. The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for achieving a level of shared operational management between University of Cincinnati Medical Center (60%) and West Chester Hospital (40%). This position is also responsible for achieving a level of shared operational management between physicians and hospital departments by bringing together resources necessary to positively impact the delivery and continuum of patient care.
