Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Atlanta office is looking for a new Customer Care Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.
Your Role
You as Customer Care Specialist is responsible for the daily execution and delivery of an exceptional customer experience by regular and frequent direct interaction with our customers. You will have a clear understanding of customer requirements and expectations, and their business developments in order for stakeholder to deliver the same to customers adhering to regulatory and compliance.
Your Typical shift will be 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday and you will report to Air Logistics Customer Care Manager
Your Responsibilities
+ Ensure to drive the most efficient way of file handling and availability of customer data and requirements, in order for stakeholder to deliver according to customer expectations adhering to regulatory and compliance.
+ Ensure consistent shipment monitoring and pro-active customer communication, and effectively handle and respond to customer feedback, complaints and escalations, and ensure swift corrective actions.
+ Ensure awareness of customer facing digital solutions and encourage usage by our customers. Participate in trainings, as needed, for up-to-date knowledge.
+ Support in customer implementations and ensure participation by OCC/RCC/OM, as required
+ Participate in GCIM Scalable and other mandatory trainings.
+ Manage and develop customer growth and stay on top of customer retention.
+ Drive maximization of profitability with a high focus on spot quotation execution and fast response time, and by upselling and promoting Kuehne+Nagel products. And on-going Gross Profit analysis, as well as liaising with stakeholders responsible for procurement.
Your Skills and Experiences
+ Diploma/Degree in supply chain management or similar field
+ 3+ years of experience in similar role from Freight Forwarding industry (Air Logistics preferred).
+ Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
+ Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel)
+ Good knowledge on Incoterms and air regulations, experience with HAZMAT goods shipments will be an asset.
