Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Overview:

TEKsystems is seeking a Field Service Technician for one of our clients based out of Fort Mitchell, KY. The technician will provide desktop and IT support to both remote and onsite staff. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining various hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, copiers, and phones. Occasional travel is required, with transportation provided. The technician may also assist with network-related tasks, such as routers and switches, as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

+ Strong customer service and communication abilities

+ Expertise in configuring, setting up, and installing computer equipment

+ Familiarity with ticketing systems for issue tracking

+ Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively

+ Hands-on experience with both hardware and software troubleshooting

Key Skills:

+ Operating system and application support

+ Desktop and help desk troubleshooting

+ Hardware repair and installation

+ Technical support and end-user assistance

+ Network and system administration basics

Additional Qualifications:

+ A customer-focused approach is essential

+ Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

+ Willingness to seek guidance when needed to improve workflow

+ Strong problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments

Experience Level:

Intermediate

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
