Milford Regional Medical Center Nursing Assistant Training Program

Have you ever considered a career as a nursing assistant? Our program will give you the skills and confidence to achieve that goal!

About Our Program:

+ Training Program start date August 4th, 2025

+ Comprehensive paid training to ensure your success (program length is 32 hours/week for 4 weeks = 128 hours total) * Training will take place on day shift

+ Program is a mix of theory/classroom, simulation/lab and clinical experience.

+ Run by the Education Department, with various guest speakers/trainers assisting

+ Participants will receive American Heart Association BLS and MOAB certification

+ All final candidates will be invited for a half-day opportunity to shadow a nursing assistant prior to receiving a job offer.

+ Guaranteed benefits-eligible inpatient nursing assistant position (evening or night shift) upon completion of the program

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old as of August 4th, 2025

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Must have reliable transportation and be able to work evenings, nights, weekends & holidays

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $5.00 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy
