We are currently hiring a Billing Customer Service Representative for one of the top Healthcare companies in Colorado! this position will allow for remote flexibility after the first 6-8 weeks, and candidates must be located within a reasonable commute to Fort Collins!
Description
+ Receive and respond to patient billing inquires via phone, e-mail, voicemail, or other communication channels
+ Provide accurate and relevant information to patients regarding insurance billing, insurance benefits and coverages, co-payments, deductibles, coinsurances, and outstanding balances due from prior or upcoming appointments/dates of service
+ Take patient credit card payments, process them via credit card terminal and post accurately to the practice management system
+ Evaluate patient inquiries and provide accurate, proper, and timely solutions
+ Maintain patient records (application of notes, demographic updates, etc.) in the practice management system accurately
+ Escalate complex issues to Panorama RCM leadership, as necessary, starting w/RCM Managers
Qualifications
MUST HAVE
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Minimum of 6 months experience within a healthcare company in a patient facing role that involves payments
+ Must understand the Prior Authorizations process, how to explain EOB, and what a patient is responsible for vs what insurance is responsible for
+ Minimum of 1 year total call center experience (6 mo. healthcare exp listed above can be included in this 1 year)
PREFERRED
-Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
