The not-for-profit, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital features a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and electronic medical record services. The private patient rooms on the 5th floor Medical/Surgical Department boast views from every window.

    Specialties of our active staff of doctors include Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Hematology, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Pathology, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Psychology, Radiology and Women’s Health.

    For the convenience of our patients, we also host visiting physicians at our clinics in the areas of:

    About the role

     

    $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

     

    This position organizes and conducts medically prescribed speech/language or swallowing evaluations and rehab programs to guide individuals in improving their quality of life following injury, diseases or loss of a body part with consideration to patients gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs. Evaluates patient utilizing appropriate testing procedures to establish scope of dysfunction. Plans a restorative treatment program based on objective data gathered and as prescribed by physician. Records initial evaluation and progress reports per departmental policy. Cooperates and coordinates efforts with health care team to provide efficient and effective care for all patients. Conducts or participates in educating medical staff & health professionals in speech/language techniques and objectives. Adopts conventional techniques to meet the needs of patients with learning disabilities. Assists in the preparation of requisitions for supplies and equipment.

    Qualifications

    + Graduate of a professional course of education of speech, hearing science, and language development culminating in a minimum of a master's degree.

    + Valid Montana state license or equivalent in Speech/Language Pathology services.

    + Certification by the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association (CCC).

    + Amiable personality, ability to make sound judgments and the ability to maintain an empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients.

    + Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

    Salary commensurate with up to 10 years experience.
