    About the role

     

    Designs, organizes, applies, and conducts medically prescribed exercise programs directed at the physical reconditioning of patients who exhibit cardiac and pulmonary inefficiency. Designs, organizes, applies, and conducts exercise programs directed at the continual wellbeing and improved exercise tolerance for adult geriatric clients and clients afflicted with a physical impairment which requires exercise in a controlled environment. Evaluates each patient who is referred by a physician to the program for monitored progressive exercise sessions. Documents and evaluates each session on the appropriate form.

    Qualifications

    + RN license.

    + Current ACLS.

    + Has knowledge relative to age of patients served.

    + Amiable personality. Ability to make sound judgments and the ability to deal tactfully with and maintain

     

    an empathetic and understanding attitude toward patients.

     

    + Basic Life Support certification.

    + Ability to learn from others.

    + Ability to hold in confidence all personal hospital and professional matters.

    Salary is commensurate with up to 15 years of experience.
