    Job Description:

    Introduction to Religious Studies offers a critical examination of the essential dimensions of religious experience across a wide variety of faith traditions. The course emphasizes:

     

    + Shared themes and practices across global religions

    + The influence of religion on contemporary societal values

    + The ethical responsibilities of individuals in a global context

    Requirements

    + A graduate degree (MA or PhD) in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field; or current enrollment in a Religious Studies/Theology PhD program

    + A demonstrated commitment to teaching and student engagement

    + Prior teaching experience in higher education is strongly preferred
