Minimum Qualifications
Education
+ High School diploma or equivalency (GED)
Experience
+ Three (3) years of administrative support experience in an office setting performing such tasks as data processing, filing, typing, and compiling records and reports. Must have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel

Incumbents in this role may be required to report to or continue to work in the event of authorized office closings or service suspensions due to severe weather, natural disaster, fire, operational emergencies or related events.
Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Clerk performs administrative and clerical support for a maintenance group. The employee is responsible for completing forms, processing timesheets, preparing reports, maintaining records, including documenting maintenance activities in Maximo. The position requires computer skills and the use of Authority software systems used in administrative support of maintenance work.
Essential Functions
+ Prepares, establishes and/or maintains files, records, and reports required for maintenance facility operation. Operates standard office equipment to include personal computers, calculators and reproduction machines. Processes timesheets and initiates pay corrections.
+ Assists in the development and compilation of statistical maintenance operating data; performs mathematical calculations. Reviews or verifies information contained in data processing reports and other documents pertinent to the maintenance facility. Maintains weekly and monthly work schedules for all shifts as assigned.
+ Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with those individuals and organizations with whom interface and cooperation is required. Responds effectively and in a timely manner to inquiries made by Authority organizations; maintains effective work relationships with other Authority facilities and offices.
+ Attends and passes required safety training classes and continuously learns industry best practices for working safely and efficiently. Performs assignments according to established safety practices and maintenance guidelines.
Other Functions
+ Supports response efforts in emergencies by providing immediate maintenance support to protect assets. Responds to and assists during severe weather emergencies.
