The Functional Business Analyst will work with members of the Comptroller's Office and Information Technology Services (ITS) to support, analyze, design, and implement the financial applications and systems. This position serves as the primary liaison between departmental users and ITS, and although this is not considered a technical role, data analysis and report writing experience is an essential part of this position. The Functional Business Analyst identifies organizational strengths and weaknesses and offers strategic solutions and initiatives by staying current with emerging industry best practices. This is an extremely fast paced, varied, cross-functional position requiring the ability to learn new processes on demand, while acting as an additional resource to assume the business analyst role on projects as required. In this role the candidate will work to ensure that projects align with the University, Comptroller's Office, and Office of Sponsored Accounting strategic goals.
