**Are you passionate about tackling unique HVAC MEP projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment?** We're looking for an experienced and driven **MEP Project Manager** to lead the planning, management, and successful delivery of mechanical, piping, and plumbing projects. + **Coordinate and lead in-person project kickoff meetings,** distributing critical data to field and office staff involved in the project, ensuring clear and effective communication.
**Review contract documents,** making necessary suggestions/modifications to align with the project scope and protect company interests, using common sense and practical intelligence.
**Set up job accounts with strategic vendors** and procure all equipment to secure preferred pricing for the project duration, demonstrating resourcefulness and initiative.
**Drive the pre-construction process** (submittals, detailing, man-loading charts, material procurement, etc.) with the support of the project team, showing a proactive approach.
**Visit job sites at least once a week** to meet with foremen, evaluate progress, address customer concerns, and resolve scheduling/material issues, demonstrating commitment and accountability.
**Attend weekly foreman meetings** as needed to provide support, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
**Maintain accurate project man-loading charts** and detailed three-week look-aheads with field assistance to track job progress, ensuring effective planning and foresight.
**Generate notices or adjust schedules** as needed to maximize profitability and reduce margin erosion while maintaining efficiency, showing a results-oriented mindset.
**Manage subcontractor costs and schedules** to meet project timelines and standards.
**Participate in all schedule and management MEP meetings** to monitor and manage project costs, showing a proactive approach to cost control.
**Conduct detailed monthly job cost analyses,** detailing the financial standing of the project relative to estimates, and address any scope creep or margin erosion, showing financial acumen.
**Supervise and mentor subordinates,** fostering a team that shares common goals and values, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to team development.
