Responsibilities
+ Lead, own and drive data acquisition, ETL processing and product development for commercial marketing data products to enable critical analytical insights and campaign performance measurement.
+ Curate a healthy backlog of capabilities and features for your data products and drive delivery of the backlog through vendor teams.
+ Be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) of your data domain and the single accountable POC (Point of Contact) owning the delivery of high-quality data product that meets customer needs.
+ Drive end-to-end data architecture, data modeling, design, build and delivery for your data products.
+ Coordinate with source data owners to obtain access and identify data handling and security requirements.
+ Develop proof-of-concept tools to validate connectivity, throughput, correctness, and limitations of those data sources.
+ Work closely with Technical PMs (Program Managers), stakeholders, Analysts, and Data Scientists to define the data strategy that best meets their needs.Collaborate with Peer Developers, Data Architects, source partner engineering team and Data Operations to implement successful solutions.Create data quality and monitoring for key end to end data flows to ensure data reliability and issue visibility and responsiveness.
+ Contribute to enhancing the architecture, design principles and framework through inputs and feedback from domain specific scenarios and use cases.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work
+ OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, or data engineering work
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years of experience with software development in big data, with 2+ years experience as a development lead managing big data platforms.
+ Experience developing and using Azure Data stack (Synapse, ADB [Azure Data bricks], ADF [Azure Data Factory], Cosmos, Azure Data explorer, Fabric) and data visualization tools.
+ Experience with data architecture, data modeling, designing, and building data pipelines for Operational, Advanced analytics and AI (Artificial Intelligence) agent/ML (Machine Learning) workloads.
+ Experience in setting up and running Agile/Scrum teams (including ADO [Azure Developer Operations] or similar for example) set up, estimation, planning, and tracking burn downs.
+ Familiarity and experience with secure development practices and implementing Privacy compliant data processing, storage, and access solutions.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work
+ OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years of business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work experience
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience managing execution through vendor teams.
+ Previous experience in digital media, marketing, adobe suite of products, web analytics, or any in-house Microsoft data platforms is a plus.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently across organization partnering with technical and non-technical audience, comfortable making tough decisions based on qualitative and quantitative inputs.
Data Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
