    If you are a detail-oriented technical person, consider becoming U-Haul’s newest Truck Development Specialist. In this role, you will be constantly learning about and improving truck and trailer designs, identifying areas for improvement and coordinating with a wide variety of team members to accomplish them.

    Duties:

    + Review diagnostics for accuracy and completeness of failed engines, transmissions and axles.

    + Recommend additional testing and data collection if needed.

    + Collaborate with repair facility and advanced diagnostic team.

    + Approve orders for engine, transmission and axles.

    + Review engine, transmission and axle requests for equipment with multiple replacements.

    + Document failures for quality control.

    Qualifications:

    + 3-5 years repair and diagnostics experience.

    + Professional appearance and demeanor.

    + Must be flexible and have a positive attitude.

    + Ford and/or GM factory training is a plus.

    + U-Haul Master Technician is a plus.
