    SENIOR DIRECTOR, TOTAL REWARDS

    Shape the Future of Compensation & Benefits at Jostens

    ABOUT YOU:

    Are you a strategic Total Rewards leader ready to build forward-looking programs that attract, retain, and engage talent? Jostens is seeking a Senior Director, Total Rewards to lead the development and administration of compensation, benefits, and HR systems. In this high-impact role, you will drive strategy, compliance, and innovation across all aspects of Total Rewards while managing a team of three.     YOU WILL:

    + Lead Total Rewards Strategy. Design and implement compensation and benefits programs aligned with Jostens’ business objectives, compensation philosophy, and future workforce needs.

    + Oversee Compensation Programs. Manage salary planning, incentive structures, and performance management processes. Conduct market analysis, job evaluations, and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

    + Drive Benefits Innovation. Administer health and welfare plans, lead open enrollment, manage vendor relationships, and evaluate benefit design for cost-effectiveness and value.

    + Ensure Regulatory Compliance. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefit laws—including FLSA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA—while overseeing internal audits and documentation.

    + Support HRIS and Reporting. Manage the relationship with ADP, oversee HR reporting and dashboarding, and support automation and analytics capabilities.

    + Partner Across the Business. Serve as a consultative advisor to HR and business leaders on compensation, benefits, and workforce planning strategies.

    + Lead and Develop Talent. Manage and coach a team of three, fostering growth, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

    + Typical/expected % of overnight travel: less than 5%

    YOU HAVE:

    + Education. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, or related field.

    + Experience. 10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, including 3+ years designing salary/incentive programs and 3+ years leading health, welfare, and non-traditional benefit offerings.

    + Leadership & Innovation. Demonstrated success leading people and programs with a strategic mindset and a history of innovation.Experience providing guidance to HR and business leaders.

    + Technical Expertise. Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits strategies, federal and state regulations, and executive compensation.

    + Systems and Tools Proficiency. Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Must have experience with ADP.

    + Analytical and Communication Skills. Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong Excel skills. Articulate and adaptable communicator with a strong sense of accountability and discretion.

    + Professionalism and Confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information discreetly, with a strong sense of accountability and ethics.

    +  Regulatory Acumen. Experience with HIPAA, FLSA, and executive compensation and benefits regulations.

    + We believe in pay transparency. The salary range is $180,000 to $200,000 with 35% annual bonus eligibility.
