    CTG is seeking to fill an Enterprise Architect – Stablecoins Infrastructure & System Integration opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

     

    **Location:** Can be remote, Buffalo preferred

    **Duration:** 6 months

    Overview:

    We are seeking a visionary Enterprise Architect to lead the design, implementation, and integration of stablecoin infrastructure within a forward-thinking financial institution. This role demands deep expertise in blockchain technology, enterprise systems, and financial architecture. The successful candidate will ensure that stablecoin solutions are seamlessly integrated with existing systems (e.g., core banking, payment gateways, compliance platforms) while adhering to security and regulatory standards.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Define the strategic roadmap for stablecoin infrastructure and interoperability models

    + Design scalable, secure architecture for stablecoin issuance, transaction processing, and wallet management

    + Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, compliance, product, and operations teams

    + Oversee technical system design decisions involving blockchain protocols, APIs, and cloud services

    + Guide implementation teams to ensure timely delivery of stablecoin and integration initiatives

    + Serve as a trusted advisor on blockchain innovation, regulatory alignment, and enterprise integration

    + Communicate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical stakeholders

    + Research and evaluate emerging fintech technologies such as DeFi and CBDCs

    Scope of Responsibilities:

    + Architect and implement a robust stablecoin platform, including wallet infrastructure, smart contracts, and liquidity pools

    + Integrate stablecoin systems with legacy financial infrastructure (e.g., SWIFT, ACH, core banking APIs) and third-party compliance tools (e.g., KYC/AML)

    + Embed regulatory frameworks such as MiCA, FATF Travel Rule, and NYDFS into technical system design

    + Define and implement governance, security protocols, and disaster recovery plans

    + Deliver architecture blueprints, technical documentation, compliance reports, and performance metrics

    Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

    + Provide technical leadership to implementation teams and external partners

    + Mentor developers and engineers on blockchain integration and enterprise best practices

    + Collaborate with senior leadership to align technical strategies with business objectives

    Education and Experience Required:

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

    + 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 3 years in blockchain or fintech environments

    + Proven expertise in system design, implementation, and large-scale system integration

    + Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)

    + Strong background in security, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment for financial systems

    Education and Experience Preferred:

    + TOGAF or Zachman Certification

    + AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect

    + Certified Blockchain Architect or equivalent

    + Experience deploying stablecoin or crypto-based financial systems

    + Familiarity with payment systems, digital wallets, and liquidity management tools

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
