Job Title: Residential Aide / Substance Abuse Technician
Are you committed to supporting individuals in their journey toward recovery? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Aide / Substance Abuse Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and/or Psychiatrist/MD, providing essential support to patients as they navigate behavioral health challenges and substance abuse recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide Supportive Care: Assist in implementing therapeutic techniques, treatments, and medication administration to help patients manage their recovery.
+ Monitor Patient Well-being: Observe and assess patients' physical conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatment to ensure quality care.
+ Facilitate Patient Orientation: Help new patients acclimate to their environment, maintain a welcoming space, and ensure cleanliness.
+ Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work alongside nurses and medical staff to coordinate effective patient care using critical thinking and clinical judgment.
+ Maintain Standards of Care: Follow established procedures and support team members in managing patient care responsibly and effectively.

+ Flexible Scheduling: Available shifts include:
+ PM Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
+ NOC Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications:
+ Knowledgeable: Familiarity with substance abuse recovery principles.
+ Experienced: Prior experience working with individuals facing addiction, severe mental illness, and homelessness.
+ Effective Communicator: Strong command of the English language.
