Job Description
The Vice President -or-Senior Vice Presidentrole is designed to support the portfolio management team in overseeing the operations of theUSRealEstate Eagle Fund(“Fund”), which is Affinius Capital's flagship open-ended, diversified, core-plus fund. This high-profile position offersbroadexposure to various stakeholders across asset management, investment (development and acquisition), accounting, investor reporting, and capital raising departments.
Essential Duties:
FundManagement
+ ConductFundand asset-level forecasting, sensitivity analysis,andperformance attributions
+ ManageFund-level debt, including lines of credit and levered feeders.
+ Assistincash management andcapitalcapacityforecasts.
+ Monitor investment performance, prepareperiodicreports, and provide strategic recommendations.
+ Collaborate with development and asset management to ensureaccuratecapitalprojections,budgets, and operations.
+ Ensure compliance withthe Fund’sgoverning documentsand investor side letters.
+ Developmaterials for reporting, investor updates, presentations, and otherfundraising materials.
+ Participate inFundmeetings, including investor updates,new investormeetings,partner meetings,andtheinvestor conference.
Deal Sourcing and Investment Execution
+ Assistinstructuringjointventuresand partnership agreements.
+ Draft and review investment committee materials
+ Coordinate asset-level debt placement withcapital markets,investment,and asset management teams.
+ Support the development process with internal and external partners.
+ Coordinate withdepartmentsto provideasset operation updates.
+ Work closelywith the disposition team on sales processes and materials.
Additional Responsibilities
+ Coordinate with counsel and capital raising departments onFunddocuments.
+ Collaborate with accounting and performance teams on quarterly reports.
+ Collaborate with the capital raising team on messaging and speaking points.
+ Assistwith otherFund-related operational tasks and projects asneeded.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business field. Master’s degree preferred.
+ 7+ years of work experience in institutional private equity real estate or relevant leadership experience.
+ Strong business writing andpresentationskills.
+ Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite and Argus.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills for a multi-department team-oriented environment.
+ Extreme attention to detail andfollow-through, including theability to deliver a wide variety of tasks ona timelybasis.
+ Excellent analytical skills.
+ Excel in a fast-paced environment where extended hours may be necessary.
+ Must be willing to work on-site
