Job Description

The Project Supervisor supports various contracts within NAWCAD WOLF Special Communications Mission Solutions and IC2&I.

The selected candidate will form a partnership with Program / Project Managers and the Project Support team in the creation and continuing support to our numerous projects and programs. The Project Supervisor will be a working-supervisor who will direct and lead the work of project analysts across C5ISR Solutions. The candidate will ensure there is coverage for all project meetings and deliver a consistent approach in how activities are executed in accordance to contractual requirements and organization procedures. The Project Supervisor will also be expected to understand the contract requirements and work with other key stakeholders within the organization for performance/execution.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Project Analyst support to Prime Contract/Program Manager (includes contract level financials; corresponds with Contracting Officer; Travel Requests; Material Approvals; Program Performance Reviews, etc.)

- Establish and maintain internal and external customer relationships (interpersonal skills and communication skills)

- Foster teamwork between Project Support and other functional departments such as finance, contracts, procurement, and subcontracts, etc. (interpersonal and communication skills)

- Collect data from BAE Systems internal financial, procurement, and contract databases for analysis (analytical skills)

- Review project cost estimates and prepare for submittal to the government for task orders (cost and resource management skills)

- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases monitoring performance parameters (analytical skills)

- Assist the Project Analyst team with requirements and guidance for contractual execution (professional skills)

- Communicate effectively at all levels of the BAE Systems organization as well as with customers (verbal and written communication skills)

This position is located in Chesapeake, Virginia or Lexington Park, MD. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently reside in or state willingness to relocate self to Chesapeake, VA or Lexington Park, MD or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience OR Associate degree and at least 6 years of related experience

Experience leading a team and training others

Proven Project Analyst support experience

Excellent time management skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Extreme attention to detail and problem solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and planning skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Project and PowerPoint

Experience using Deltek CostPoint

Ability to read schematics and drawings

Experience with financial support; developing, tracking, reporting spend plans, and project budgets

Experience with implementing process improvement

Understanding of workload distribution

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $60076 - $102130

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
