**ManTech seeks** a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Systems Administrator** to join our team onsite in **Dahlgren, Virginia.** This is an **onsite** position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Provide system administrator support to Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment – Network (STAVE-NET). STAVE-NET is a key part of the US Navy's STAVE program. It provides a networked infrastructure that allows for the distribution of training content and courseware to various locations, including ships, schoolhouses, and training facilities
+ Provide system administrator support to Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment – Network (STAVE-NET) installations at various CONUS Navy training locations
+ Provide system administrator operations and maintenance support to STAVE-NET users at various CONUS Navy training locations
+ Provide system administrator support to STAVE-NET Research and Development to support integration of new systems
+ Provide onsite technical support and guidance to STAVENET end-users, addressing IT-related issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
+ Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system configurations and network connectivity for Range POR systems
+ Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and best practices, with a focus on maintaining a secure IT environment
+ Strong understanding of Group Policy Management and Active Directory in Windows environments
+ Writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT systems and processes
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively
+ Up to 25% travel can be expected
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant IT systems experience
+ Experience in system administration, with proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments
+ Must have Security+ CE
+ Must have a VMware, Windows, or Linux Operating System (OS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Clearance Requirements:
+ US Citizenship and active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
+ The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
