• Data Engineer

    ManTech (Quantico, VA)


    ManTech seeks a Data Engineer to help support our current Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager Intelligence & Cyber Operations Contract in Stafford, VA. This role focuses on automating and streamlining data processes, integrating data with external interfaces, and continuously improving data quality.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for diverse data sources. Automate and streamline data analytics and management processes.

    + The Data Engineer will leverage tools like SQL, Python, PowerShell, and ETL processes, collaborating with stakeholders to meet data requirements

    + Conduct data analytics and reporting, including website usage metrics and audit logs.

    + Implement data validation and quality checks, identifying enhancements for data processing.

    + Optimize SQL queries for performance and data retrieval. Develop scripts (Python, PowerShell, Batch) for data manipulation and automation.

    + Create data visualizations and reports using dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI).

    + Ensure data integrity and security during data transfers and sharing.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years of related experience. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

    + Strong SQL and database automation experience.

    + Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior DoD/USMC experience.

    + Experience pulling data from applications with APIs and NPE PKI certificates.

    + Experience integrating large datasets (structured/unstructured)

    **Clearance Required** : Must have an Active TS/SCI

    **Physical Requirement:** Sedentary Work
