    **Description:** We're looking for a Research Technician I to join our team and help advance our understanding of the **tumor immune microenvironment** , focusing on **dendritic cells** (DCs) and their role in cancer immunotherapy. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact research using innovative tools like the **STAMP model** (Skin Tumor Array by Micro-poration), which enables non-invasive, high-throughput monitoring of immune cell recruitment and interactions in tumors (PMID: 37258670).

     

    In this role, you will play a central part in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our **new and growing lab** , while collaborating closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) on groundbreaking research aimed at advancing the future of cancer immunotherapy. This position offers significant opportunities for professional growth, including mentoring new lab members and helping build a strong lab culture.

     

    Required Education and Experience

     

    Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of science or technology OR college-level coursework in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, or in a related science curriculum AND equivalent lab experience.

    Required Credentials

    N/A.

     

    Preferred

     

    Data entry and/or word processing experience.

    Experience in analyzing data using spreadsheets and statistical analysis.

    At least two (2) years experience in a laboratory/research setting.

    Research experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, and tissue culture techniques may be preferred.

     

    Compensation Range

     

    $20.76 - $29.59 per hour

     

    Salary Information

     

    This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
