Job Description:
Medical Devices & Diagnostics Global Services, LLC, a division of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Lead Product Analyst, MedTech R&D Product Lifecycle Management. This role is open for candidates based anywhere in the US.
Position Summary
The Product Analyst (PA) IT Lead for MedTech R&D Product Lifecycle Management at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for leading the delivery of sustaining system updates for the enterprise-wide PLM platform, PTC Windchill. This role requires a deep functional understanding of the PLM system solution and how it relates to business processes. This role requires a candidate who can drive delivery of the right things as efficiently as possible while balancing multiple competing priorities.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
+ Understand user challenges and system opportunities; translate them into detailed user stories, requirements, and bugs. Supporting documentation such as process flows, mockups, and system-specific functional design guidance.
+ Evaluate requests for technical feasibility and procedural compliance before accepting work into the backlog. Facilitate cross-functional discussion to gain consensus on how to proceed for unique incidents.
+ Lead a squad as the Product Analyst (PA)by setting priorities, defining scope, and communicating the future roadmap/vision to developers, testers, and stakeholders that are globally distributed.
+ Ensure consistent system releases are completed every 5-8 weeks. Manage unexpected, urgent system releases to resolve critical issues.
+ Drive production system issues result in actionable next steps that resolve and/or mitigate the problem to business operations. Partner with technical and business partners to comprehensively analyze the root-cause and impact and generate a holistic solution.
+ In partnership with Product and Platform Product Manager(s) to maintain deep understanding of processes and priorities to align squad delivery with value and needs.
+ Identify, manage, and address dependencies with other squads, working closely with squad TPO, peer PAs, and the Product Manager.
+ Act as a primary spokesperson to the business users and program leadership about the state of the production system including production issues and managing escalations.
+ Identify and implement continual improvement opportunities to streamline execution and maximize value delivery to the business, this spans processes or tools.
+ Cultivate collaborative, healthy, inclusive, and credo-based culture of highly engaged, high performing teams by modeling credo values and valuing diverse perspectives.
Qualifications:
+ A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field highly preferred"
+ At least 7 years of PLM domain experience
+ At least 5 years of experience delivering technical solutions for business problems by driving decisions and alignment between business and technical partners
+ At least 5 years of experience with PLM in the Medical Devices industry
+ At least 5 years of experience with PTC Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink
+ Led a team that was globally distributed and remote
+ Strong understanding and experience in software development lifecycle process (SDLC), and agile (i.e. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) methodologies.
+ Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical partners and to lead and empower teams to deliver
+ Think strategically and tactically to resolve problems, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks. Maintain organization and discipline across squad during delivery.
+ Operate in a fast-paced environment with agility and adaptability. History of composure and sound judgment under pressure. Strong problem-solver mentality.
+ Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with cross-functional and global teammates, partners, and stakeholders.
+ Autonomous working style where results can be delivered independently with minimal supervision.
**Preferred** Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Certification in SAFe
+ Experience with PLM data migration, production data correction and manipulations
+ JIRA, Confluence system experience
+ Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) release practice
+ PTC Windchill MPMLink
+ PTC ThingWorx
Pay Transparency:
+ The anticipated salary range for this position is $124,950 - $169,050
+ For Bay Area only the range is $143,650 - $194,350
+ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
