Join our US Heme Oncology Medical Communications and Scientific Exchange (MCSE) team in Horsham, PA as an Associate Director, Medical Communications! This role offers the opportunity to provide oncology scientific expertise, ensuring the medical accuracy of promotional, medical, payer, and sales materials. You will also lead the creation and review of scientific content for healthcare professionals and payers through omnichannel delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Reviews medical content and develops strategic concepts – Provides medical guidance for the development and review of promotional, medical, payer, or sales training materials. Ensures scientific accuracy and relevance of assets through various review pathways, including Copy Approval Committee (CAC), Medical Review Committee (MedRC), and iMedical Review (iMR).
+ Collaborates on multidisciplinary teams - Contributes to the functional strategic plan in support of the therapeutic area. Leverages clinical knowledge and expertise to identify emerging trends and scientific intelligence relevant to each audience.
+ Manages Medical Communications projects – Leads new product launch support and identifies innovative approaches for delivery of scientific content.
+ Conducts in-depth data analysis – Monitors the medical literature for company products and competitor data, analyzes the information for accuracy and relevance, and notifies key partners. Analyzes voice of customer data to identify data gaps and key actionable insights.
+ Key contact for Medical Information – Develops and/or reviews medical information tools including global scientific response documents, formulary dossiers, payer content, and slide decks in support of customer needs.
+ Develops Teams’ Therapeutic Knowledge – Provides initial and ongoing training for new hires and students/fellows. Supports sales training initiatives and therapeutic area/product training.
Qualifications
Education:
+ Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD or PhD degree highly preferred.
+ Drug Information or clinical residency/fellowship preferred.
+ Minimum of 6 years of drug information/medical information or comparable experience in the healthcare/clinical/hospital environment required.

+ Proven ability to creatively solve problems and find practical and effective solutions to challenges
+ Project management experience
+ In-depth understanding of customer needs
+ Experience developing responses to scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals, payer, and/or consumers
+ Demonstrated ability to conduct literature analysis
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred:
+ Deep understanding of oncology products and diseases
Other:
+ This position is located in Horsham, PA and may require up to 10% domestic travel for conference attendance and company meetings.
