    It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they are doing! KX News is hiring a part-time Lifestyle show Assistant/Co-host for our weekday lifestyle show, Studio 701. Join us in bringing fun, creative and interactive stories to our communities.

     

    + Assisting producers with writing show segments

    + Interviewing show guests/clients both in-studio and on location

    + Collecting information, video or photos at remote locations for post-production

    + Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations.

    + Researching show topics and developing questions for guests in coordination with the producer

    + Participating in events –either station-sponsored or others – to promote the show

    + Maintaining the Studio 701 Lifestyle shows social media accounts and assist with writing Lifestyle Show digital content as directed by the producer for the station's website

    + Provide hosting contributions to the Lifestyle show as needed

    + This position is part-time for 25 hours per week

    + Requirements & Skills :

    + Video introduction is required

    + Written article experience required

    + Social media management and digital business marketing experience required

    + Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines

    + Must be energetic, positive and great in a team environment

    + Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team
