    Job Summary Details:

    The Traveling Floor Care Tech (EXPERIENCED) is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. This position is full time day shift and requires overnight travel within Utah and out of state during the week and home on the weekends.

     

    **Pay:** $18.00 **Shift:** Monday - Friday (8:00 -4:30PM) - OVERNIGHT TRAVEL

     

    Must reside in the Salt Lake City area!!!!!

    Basic Qualifications:

    + 1 Year of similar experience in Floor Care (stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning)

    + Must pass background check and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)

    + Must have a current Driver's license with no restrictions.

    + Must be 18 years of age or older

    + No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

    + Must be willing to travel overnight on the road a week at a time

    Responsibilities

    + Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours

    + Drives vehicles (if required) to perform assigned scheduled work

    + May be expected to make basic repairs

    + Miscellaneous duties as assigned

     

    Travel on the road to various assigned locations/ transportation and lodging provided.

     

    + Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

    + Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures.

    + Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks

    + May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions

    + Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications

    + Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors

    + Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment

    + Gathers and empties trash

    + Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment

    + Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures

    + Services, deep cleans, and supplies restrooms

    + Periodically cleans overhead vents, dusts blinds, and polishes wood furniture

    + Cleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees

    + Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties

    + Opportunities for overtime and bonus pay

    + Able to work at heights above 9ft and less than 30ft
