    Overview

    Job Summary Details:

    The **Full-time Floor Technician** is responsible for **cleaning and maintaining floors through shampooing, extraction, stripping, and waxing,** ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety in accordance with company procedures.

     

    Schedule:** **_Monday to Friday, 5:00p.m. to 1:00a.m._

    Basic Qualifications:

    • **Must be 21 years of age or older**

    • Must possess a valid driver's license

    • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Customer service experience

    • **One (1) year of floor care experience highly preferred**

    Responsibilities:

    + Clean and maintain floors in accordance with company standards.

    + Perform floor care tasks, including shampooing, extraction, stripping, and waxing floors using appropriate equipment and techniques.

    + Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

    + Notify the manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

    + Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.

    + Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.

    + Maintain cleanliness of equipment used for floor care and ensure all tools are in good working condition.

    + Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access and clean all areas of the floor.

    + Gather and empty trash from floor areas and ensure common spaces are tidy.

    + Perform incidental seasonal tasks, such as snow removal or maintenance of outdoor walkways, as needed.
