The EnSuRe and CRRL Research Groups at NYU Tandon School of Engineering are seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Researcher /Post Doctoral Associate to join an exciting new project to investigate robust and secure design of machine learning algorithms. New York University (NYU) is one of the top private universities in the United States, and the Tandon School of Engineering, located in Brooklyn, has the distinct history of having been known previously as Brooklyn Poly and the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.

Candidates will be responsible for developing new methodologies for secure, robust and privacy-preserving AI/ML and perform work in a multidisciplinary environment and a diverse research group.

The successful candidate will be driven, creative and team-oriented with a passion for developing biomaterials.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $90,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

We are seeking individuals with a strong background in machine learning, statistics, cyber-security and/or related fields. We welcome applicants from recent PhDs and individuals seeking additional postdoctoral training. Eligible candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States. Tandon faculty and students are at the forefront of the high-tech start-up culture in New York City and have access to NYU’s Global Network University.
