    Role Overview

     

    Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at HCA Houston Healthcare. Position will provide inpatient RD coverage at HCA Mainland in Texas City, TX a 150 bed acute care facility.

    What You'll Do

    Position will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and selected candidate will:​

    + Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients within the inpatient rehabilitation facility and ICU, as well as patients with a variety of other conditions

    + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and serves as the nutrition expert

    + Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills​

    + Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives for the department

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Minimum Education Requirement:

    Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

    For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

    Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

    Credentials Requirement:

    Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

     

    Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

     

    Minimum Management Experience: 7+ months general supervision

    Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty
