About the Role

As a **Conformal Coat Operator** , you'll play a critical part in ensuring the performance and durability of electronic assemblies by applying protective coatings. Whether working by hand or operating state-of-the-art PVA machines, your precision and focus will help deliver flawless results on cutting-edge technology used in vital industries.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate hand spray and PVA machines to apply conformal or silicone coatings to electronic assemblies

+ Prepare materials, mask components, mix coatings, and follow detailed blueprints and work instructions

+ Inspect finished assemblies using black lights, perform touch-ups, and ensure coatings meet all quality standards

+ Support potting processes using specialized Asymtec equipment

+ Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow all safety and preventive maintenance procedures

+ Communicate effectively with Leads, Supervisors, and Engineers to align priorities and troubleshoot issues

+ Assist team members and adapt to various roles across manufacturing as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required:

+ High school diploma or GED

+ 1+ year of experience in hand spraying

+ Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and measurement tools

+ Comfortable working with chemicals and using a respirator (must pass medical and fit testing)

+ Good hand-eye coordination and attention to fine detail

+ Visual acuity of 20/20 (with or without corrective lenses) and ability to pass color vision test

Preferred:

+ IPC-610 Certification (or willingness to obtain)

+ Experience with PVA coating equipment or similar machinery

+ Background in electronics assembly or aerospace/medical device manufacturing
