Clinical Pastoral Education is interfaith professional education that helps students to learn and improve their ministry and pastoral skills. Our program provides multi-faith ministry in a manner that is sensitive and respectful to different cultures, religious practices, and belief systems.

Our Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program is a comprehensive program that integrates peer review, supervisory evaluation, and personal reflection. Students’ learning in the program, are facilitated through intense involvement with persons in need, feedback from peers and teachers, and closely guided personal and theological reflection. This action-reflection model of learning helps students to develop a new awareness of self and those to whom they minister. Plus, as part of an interdisciplinary care team, they apply learned theory with personal and pastoral experience as they minister to patients, families, and staff.
