To address the growing demands within the Department of Defense, SAIC is seeking highly skilled and dynamic AI/ML Engineers at various levels to support data and AI products for Data and AI Infrastructure Management for our Digital and AI Team. We are embarking on a large initiative to lead the design and operate integrated Enterprise IT solutions

that deliver AI-enabled capabilities and enable data-driven decision making to missions across the Department, Services, and Combatant Commands.

The ideal candidates will be adept at managing customer relationships, driving operational excellence, and fostering continuous improvement across all service areas.

Core Responsibilities

+ Develop, research, and apply analytic models, including machine learning and deep learning, to datasets in various domains, such as computer vision, natural language processing, or time series analysis.

+ Work with GPU compute utilizing leading libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.

+ Apply data engineering concepts to support AI and machine learning workflows.

+ Collaborate in cross-functional teams with data at all stages of the analysis lifecycle to derive actionable insights.

+ Translate mission needs into an end-to-end analytical approach to achieve results.

+ · Perform pre-analytics tasks including data collection and understanding, data cleansing and integration, and data storage and retrieval.

+ Determine the appropriate analytics based on the data and the desired outcomes.

+ Interpret the validity of results and communicate their meaning.

+ Follow a scientific approach to generate value from data, verifying results at each step.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field AND 9+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science. OR Master's Degree & 7+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science.

+ Expertise in machine learning frameworks, deep learning, and GPU compute (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).

+ Advanced programming skills in Python and other relevant languages.

+ Comprehensive understanding of AI, data science, data engineering, and IT.

+ Demonstrated experience managing complex AI/ML projects.

+ Active DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred:

+ Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field.

+ Certifications in cloud platforms and AI/ML (e.g., AWS ML, Google Cloud ML Engineer Certification).

+ Proven experience with COTS AI/ML platforms and tools.

+ Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification.

+ CEET Certification.

+ Python certifications.
