Scope of Work

The Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients within Zeeland Hospital Radiology. This role supports all modalities, including but not limited to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Breast Care Services.

The Radiology RN collaborates closely with the Imaging Manager and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilizing advanced clinical judgment, the RN assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and implements appropriate interventions to address actual or potential health conditions. The RN plays a critical role in preventing physiological complications associated with diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the continuum of care.

Qualifications

+ Associates in Nursing Required

+ Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years

+ MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required

+ CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Required with 90 days

+ AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months
