Job Summary: As our Enterprise Data Warehouse Lead, you will take the lead in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our enterprise data warehouse platform. You will work with a talented team of data professionals, IT specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure the EDW is running smoothly and meeting the needs of the organization. This role requires a deep technical background in EDW systems, hands-on experience with ETL processes, and an ability to manage incidents, enhancements, and day-to-day operations with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead Support and Maintenance: Oversee the daily support and maintenance of the EDW platform, ensuring the system operates at peak performance.

+ Incident Management: Ensure adherence to SLAs for incident management, service requests, and problem tickets, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

+ Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis on recurring issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.

+ Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for business users and data consumers, delivering timely updates and ensuring satisfaction.

+ Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor system performance and health, addressing bottlenecks and performance issues before they impact business operations.

+ Enhancements & Bug Fixes: Collaborate with business and IT teams to coordinate minor enhancements and resolve system bugs.

+ Deployments: Partner with QA and release management teams to ensure smooth deployment of updates and enhancements.

+ Documentation & Procedures: Maintain clear and up-to-date system documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with BI developers, DBAs, data architects, and infrastructure teams to optimize the data environment and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

+ ETL Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSRS, SSIS, SSAS.

+ SQL Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques.

+ EDW Platforms: Practical experience with SQL Server or similar enterprise data warehouse platforms.

+ ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL processes and hands-on experience in incident/problem management.

+ Data Warehouse Concepts: In-depth understanding of star schema, snowflake schema, and data marts.

+ BI Tools Exposure: Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Excel (PivotTables).

+ Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

+ Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
