    Now Hiring: Extrusion Technicians (3 Shifts Available)

    **Location:** Taunton, MA

    **Pay Rate:** Starting at $18/hour (Pay based on experience)

    **Employment Type:** Temp-to-Hire

    Shifts Available:

    + **1st Shift:** 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    + **2nd Shift:** 3:45 PM – 12:00 AM

    + **3rd Shift:** 11:45 PM – 8:00 AM

    About the Role:

    Our client is currently seeking **three Extrusion Technicians** to join their team—one for each shift. These are **temp-to-hire** opportunities with training provided for entry-level candidates. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a higher starting pay based on skills and background.

     

    As an Extrusion Technician, you’ll support the operation, troubleshooting, and cleaning of manufacturing equipment in a commercial or medical production environment. This role involves hands-on work with extrusion machinery, quality assurance, documentation, and mentoring within a team-based setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Set up, operate, and adjust extrusion manufacturing equipment.

    + Perform equipment troubleshooting and quality checks.

    + Use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, vision systems).

    + Maintain accurate production documentation (GMP/ISO 13485).

    + Monitor raw material usage and product flow.

    + Conduct equipment clean-ups and changeovers.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    + Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.

    + Train and support new or junior team members.

    Preferred Skills & Experience:

    + Prior extrusion experience (medical or industrial) is a plus.

    + Experience in complex medical extrusions (e.g., multi-lumen, bump tubing) is a bonus.

    + Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities.

    + Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments.

    + Basic math skills, including metric system familiarity.

    + Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication.

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED required; Technical High School or STEM-related Associate’s degree preferred.

    + Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent skillset.

    + Experience in regulated manufacturing (ISO 9001/13485) preferred.
